Altius Capital acted as exclusive adviser to Gobarto Group on the sale of their Ukrainian business Rosan-Agro to a group of private investors. For Gobarto, the accomplished transaction means another milestone in their long-term strategy to focus on Polish market while divesting from nonpriority geographies. The new owners plan to fully modernize and expand the production assets of Rosan-Agro, thus bringing investments and creating new jobs in Ukraine at a crucial time.
Gobarto Group is a leading Polish producer of pork meat and products with over $600mn of annual turnover and strong market positions in CEE region.
Rosan-Agro is a vertically integrated pork producer with capacities of value chain creation from feed production to pig growing and meat processing into finished products, located in Western Ukraine.
