ALTIUS CAPITAL acted as exclusive adviser to UKRAINIAN WALNUT LLC on raising long-term debt financing of $15mln from JSC Ukreximbank. The first tranche of $5mln shall be disbursed under the Long-Term Financing Access Project joint with the IBRD.
UKRAINIAN WALNUT is the leading Ukrainian producer of walnuts on an industrial scale with high-tech solutions. The company is growing orchards of high-yielding Californian Chandler variety using the latest technologies of soil preparation, tree planting, and nut harvesting. The business is 100% export-oriented and located in the Mohyliv-Podilsky region of Vinnytsia oblast.
The investment funds will be used to launch the identical cluster in Kherson oblast and to complete vertical integration, namely build walnut processing capacities at both locations.
